The Drama Group presently has eleven members. The aim of the group is to read and perform poems, monologues, sketches or plays with which to entertain both ourselves and our audiences at Christmas and other times as requested.

Although we are amateurs, two of our members are happy to produce and we are ably assisted by the husband of one member who performs wonders with scenery, props, sound effects etc. We are a happy group and have great fun.

We are to perform a play called "A Lovesome Thing" at the monthly meeting on 5th May and are presently rehearsing every week. The venue is changeable so please see our U3A newsletter for more information on meeting times.
